Learn from someone who has evaluated hundreds of Norwegian tests

We created this course together with Ingrid Nøstdal. Ingrid is a Norskprøven examiner and knows exactly what separates an A2 from a B1. She shares that insider knowledge in this course: what examiners really listen for, what they don’t care so much about, and how to avoid common mistakes that might cost you.

You will also hear her analyze real-life examples from students and explain what B1 level actually means.

Got Questions? (FAQ)

When are the classes?

This is a self-paced course. This means you study on your own, without traditional classroom teaching.
However, you do get access to group sessions. Every other Tuesday (alernate daytime/evening), you can meet Aria and other students in an open Q&A session. Here, you can ask questions and get help with things you find difficult. You can also sign up to get set up with a practice parter if you want to.

Can I cancel if I am not satisfied?

Yes. If you are not satisfied with the course, you can cancel and get a full refund — no questions asked.
You can do this up to 10 days after you paid for the course.

Who is this course for?

This course is for learners around A2 level who want to achieve B1 on the spoken Norwegian test. This means you know some basic grammar and vocabulary, but you struggle to speak Norwegian, especially about topics outside of everyday life.

Why should I choose this course?

Our goal is to create some of the best online courses available. The course content is created by experienced teachers. You will also work with tasks and exercises that use modern and innovative technology. All course videos are professionally produced.

What language is the course taught in?

The course is taught in Norwegian, but the language is adapted for learners. Everyone speaks slowly, and all videos include English subtitles for those who need them.

How do the Q/A-sessions work?

Every other week, the course instructor Aria hosts open Q&A sessions where you can get help with your pronunciation. You will also meet students who have taken other courses from Norskstudio. You are welcome to ask questions about Norwegian language and culture as well.

The sessions are held on Zoom. You will find the meeting link on the course page.
